About Me
Hi! I'm Tam Turse, RYT-500, RRCA Run Coach and I found my way to a yoga mat many years ago while working as a public relations executive, learning to love the balance of the physical practice and the mental peace. As a lover of learning, I began my deeper exploration of yoga with a 200-hour teacher training at Devotion Yoga in Hoboken, NJ and continued with the 300-hour teacher training program at Hudson Yoga Project, also in Hoboken, NJ.
My two favorite styles to teach are a powerful flow and Yin, and I try to spark what each of those two extremes offer when I teach any class - a yoga practice that is active, yet grounding. After stepping off the mat from a class with me, my "goal" is to have both your body and mind find the balanced blend of fitness, clarity and peace.
Many of my studio (and beach "studio") classes are for an open level practice, I do have a special interes, and advanced training in providing an asana practice for athletes in all sports-skills in every stage of their training cycle.
